There are About 300+ Dental Colleges College and each has about an average of 50-100 Students. This means that Almost 30,000 Dental Graduates will pass out every year.________________________________________
So When you enter into a Dental College it gives you a beautiful feeling of becoming a doctor enhancing aesthetics of people.
It feels like as if Years of Sacrifice has paid off .
The Magic of attending dental college with the Dreams of become a doctor and satisfaction of making your family feel proud is all in the air.
It is a wonderful feeling meeting your batch mates, knowing well that you will form some of the most memorable and lasting memories with some of them at this very college campus.
Its actually a worth moment after having sacrificed so much just to get a Seat after clearing your NEET exams
But when this awesome feeling start to fade [which usually happens in about 4-6 weeks] you suddenly start to feel the pressure pulling you from different directions.
The professors are rude and intimidating to say the least.
The Syllabus surmountable and daunting tasks.
And Frankly speaking you may start feeling a little lost.
I still remember my UG days when this constant anxiety and pressure use to pull me in 2 different directions.
The Syllabus of First Year was exhausting and making sense of Anatomy , Physiology and Biochemistry was quite a task. Simply getting pass marks in these subjects was difficult.
And Then there was this feeling that BDS is nothing. To actually become a doctor, you have to get a PG Seat in any good branch. And that again is a MAD Race. With So less number of seats available for PG in clinical branches.
Are you feeling the same ??
Essentially this struggle to balance between BDS Curriculum and preparing for PG exams will keep pulling you in 2 different directions for next 5 Years in Dental college college.
Most of you will keep worrying
but will never do anything about it.
Some of You will go ahead a start preparing for PG Exams by buying review books.
But here is the problem.
Even the students who will try to do something about the PG exams by going through the review books will have no concrete direction / guidance.
And the pattern of questions will change completely by the time you appear for your PG exams [Which will be 5 Years from Now]. So all your effort on the Review Book or Question bank will be a complete waste.
Can something uniquely mix the syllabus of PG exams with BDS curriculum so that a single source can help you clear your concepts both for passing BDS as well as preparing you for PG Exams
Can some resource be there which will guide you on specific PG exam pattern questions so that you know exactly what you are studying and why it is important from PG entrance point of view.
Can Some resource be there which gets automatically update every year so that you do not have to refer any other place as you know that every years trends as new questions will be captured by this resource.
And Most Importantly can there be something which can help you steer easily towards PG preparation even if you invest some 15-30 Minutes daily
